Pope’s right-hand man on migrants pleased with the important place taken by migratory issues in the synod

Our companion Fr. Michael Czerny, SJ., Undersecretary of the Migrants and Refugee Section (Holy See),  gave an interview to the TV channel Sale + Luce (the Italian-language television station Salt + Light), concerning the  work of the XVth Synod on faith, youth and vocational discernment. In this interview, Fr. Czerny was pleased with the important place occupied by migratory issues in the work of the synod. This is a critical issue for the church and the world, he says. The Church has a lot to learn from migrants and refugees, he adds.
