"Ignatian spirituality helps me to create an open and welcoming space where students feel safe and experience a sense of belonging to have the courage to continue this exploration."
"We are able to explore our culture, take pride in who we are, understand where we have come from, and have hope for the generations to come."
Studying at Brebeuf was a unique experience, and having Marcel [Lapointe, SJ] as my art teacher was a huge privilege for me. I will treasure his guidance for the rest of my life.
I learned about Ignatian spirituality and it deepened my prayer life
We have ideas, but we are all isolated. I'm grateful for what you're doing because it's important that we can meet, that if one person has a project, we can all get involved to make it work.
As I tell people, this is my second home. I feel a real sense of belonging here.
I'm always surprised at how personal God is; how he touches each person in their own way, in their own needs
At Ferme Berthe-Rousseau, we take care of the earth and the water, and of what is most beautiful in ourselves. We garden and care for animals and people, heart to heart and hand to hand. When the day breaks, we begin to sow the seeds of goodness, the seeds of our beauty for the common good
I found the visit to the (Ignatius Old-Growth) forest instructive and inspiring. I feel that a whole new dimension of spirituality has been awakened. Subsequent walks along the forest paths have greatly enhanced my prayer time.
The experience at the camp [Lac Simon], it completely changed my life, especially in my field of study. I was at Brebeuf and my plan was to go to business school at HEC. Once I got to the camp, I had a revelation of social inequalities and how lucky I was. It shocked me and since then, my mission is to reduce the level of these inequalities.
