Our Work

Canadian Jesuits International (CJI) is an apostolate of the Jesuits in Canada, which seeks to promote the justice of God’s kingdom and to find God in all cultures and religions in our world, especially among those who are most marginalized. CJI works with Jesuit and other partners rooted in the Jesuit tradition to support communities in their struggles for peace and social justice in Asia, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Prayer and Spiritual Retreat Opportunities
Spreading the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises is one of the core components of the Jesuit mission. Many Jesuit retreat centres in Canada offer retreats where people can learn the Spiritual Exercises, as well as experience peace and communion with God. Attend a Fundraising Event
Every year, the Jesuits in English Canada host different fundraising functions to support the works of the Province. These include the annual Provincial’s Dinner, Scotch Nosing and Dinner, and Movie Screening Night. These nights are also excellent opportunities to meet new and old Jesuits, as well as encounter other lay people with similar values and beliefs.
