Dear Friends,

This October Pope Francis has requested we join many people worldwide and pray for the Synod.

We pray for the Church, that she may adopt listening and dialogue as a lifestyle at every level, and allow herself to be guided by the Holy Spirit towards the peripheries of the world.

The Jesuits of Canada continue to be pioneers in journeying with others, deep listening and meeting people where they are. Our special men dialogue with people daily, allowing the Holy Spirit and the charism of St. Ignatius Loyola to guide.

The Jesuits of Canada Holy Souls campaign leading to the month of November has begun. During November the Church invites us to pray for our loved ones, relatives, friends, and neighbours who have passed. Please consider a donation in memory of those important people in your life. Their names will be placed in a basket at the altar of the Rene Goupil Chapel, located within the Jesuit infirmary, in Pickering. Throughout November, the Jesuits will pray for your loved ones during their daily Eucharist.

The 9^th Annual Scotch Nosing event will be held November 15, 2023, at The Albany Club in Toronto. Once again, this fabulous fundraising event will be full of fellowship, great food, and the 2023 Distillers Editions of the “Classic Malts of Scotland”.
