In the spirit of Pope Francis, who beautifully expressed, “Christmas is joy, religious joy, an inner joy of light and peace,” I extend warm greetings to you as we embrace the holiday season.

Amid both global and local challenges, Pope Francis’ words echo the deep need for joy and peace in our hearts and actions. “This joy is a sign that the Gospel has been proclaimed and is bearing fruit.” (Evagelii Gadium, 21).

As we also meditate on St Ignatius’ invitation to seek and find God in every detail of our life, we understand that our joy for the Advent and Christmas seasons is based on authentic gestures of love and solidarity.
