The New Issue of Canadian Jesuits is Out

The new issue Canadian Jesuits is now out! This issue presents the work of Jesuit apostolates during COVID-19 and focuses on one of the Universal Apostolic Preferences of the Society of Jesus: to accompany young people in the creation of a future of hope.

All human beings, believers or not, desire to be happy. However, the future for young persons in particular appears bleak on the ecological front, with a sense of disunity, injustice, and, more recently, uncertainty in the face of a pandemic that leaves death and destruction in its wake. Nevertheless, life encompasses not only devastation and decay but also birth and renewal. A grain of wheat continues to grow on icy nights because under the newly fallen snow, the seed is still green. – José Antonio Sánchez, Director
