This retreat begins with the weekend of July 4-6 and includes one additional Saturday, July 19th. The July weekend will be held in silence. The additional Saturday begins at 9:00am and ends at 4:00pm.
Though a cup may appear simple and ordinary, it embodies life’s fullness, emptiness, brokenness, imperfections, and blessings. Its simplicity reminds us, that personal transformation and inner growth often take shape within the everyday moments that fill our lives.
Set in a peaceful, nurturing environment, during the immersive weekend experience, you will hand-build and decorate three unique clay cups, each serving as a sacred symbol of your own spiritual journey. The three cups—the Cup of Gratitude, the Cup of Compassion, and the Cup of Blessing— will be crafted and reflected upon throughout the building process.
During the additional Saturday, you will learn how to use them as tools for self-awareness, and for deepening your connection to God’s presence and action in your daily life through prayer. Guided meditations, rituals, and art journaling will support your reflections and creative expression along the way.
Open to everyone, this retreat invites you to slow down, reflect, explore clay-building techniques and integrate your handmade cups into your daily prayer life. No prior experience with clay is needed.
