A One-Day Retreat
Apply here!
This one-day retreat helps participants to grow in appreciation for the role of the imagination and the human senses in personal prayer.
There will be three short presentations, each followed by time for personal reflection and leisurely walks around the beautiful grounds of IJC as the sensual stimulation of spring surrounds you. The day will also include the Eucharist, lunch and snacks.
You will experience the prayer methods of St. Ignatius of Loyola, who encourages use of your senses. He invites you to pray the Gospel stories, just as if you were there.
- Bring your Bible, your journal, a pen, and your water bottle
- Lunch, snacks and beverages provided by the Loyola House kitchen
- There will be no spiritual direction at this one-day retreat
