Living one’s LGBTQ+ reality in a Christian context can pose profound challenges. Oftentimes life creates wounds that can make one feel as though you don’t belong, that you do not “fit in” as a Christian, that your role in the community is poorly defined, that you are set apart, and that you cannot truly be yourself in the living out your faith.

Beyond the questions related to the Church’s position, this retreat aims to cultivate and strengthen a spirituality that allows us to live a deeply intimate and personal relationship with God. We will explore Ignatian contemplative prayer together and will be able, if one wishes, to share in spiritual conversations.
