Building community online: A guide to spiritual conversation using technology

April 8, 2020 – In this time of social distancing, keeping us apart from our friends, colleagues, communities, teams… it can be difficult to find our bearings and keep a deep sense of togetherness. An adapted version of spiritual conversation can be a valuable tool to remain connected to God and to one another, to experience Christ’s presence in our midst and to listen where the Spirit is inviting us to venture our steps in this context. Inspired by the long-standing wisdom of the Spiritual Exercises by St. Ignatius of Loyola, here is a simple tutorial to plan and experience an online version of spiritual conversation.
