November 30, 2018 — Each year, more than 300 trainees go on an internship with Mer et Monde. The organization is launching a new invitation for young graduates from a post-secondary institution aged between 19 and 30 years for a six (6) month internship in Senegal (knowledge of french mandatory). This international experience makes it possible to develop new professional skills by collaborating on a project initiated by local partners, with a view to exchanging knowledge and building capacity. Deadline to apply: December 5, 2018. Departure: February 2019.
"[Experiencing 6 months of international experience] can be scary and extremely stressful, but getting out of our comfort zone allows us to do things we would never have done before. Today, I can assure you that I did well to face these concerns to live this experience. I have met incredible people, people with whom I build ties and these links, I hope to keep them all my life," says former communications trainee Karel Marcoux.
