2019 Elections in Canada: A Tool for Reflection and Action

October 4, 2019 — The federal election campaign in Canada is in full swing. On October 21, citizens will have to choose between various platforms. This is why the Justice, Reconciliation and Ecology Commission of the Jesuit Province of Canada has prepared a tool to encourage discernment and action. In view of the challenges that are important to Canadians and in light of our pursuit of the common good, they have identified four topics on which we are invited to reflect either personally or in group.

This document also provides us with a list of questions to ask your MPs around four themes: climate crisis, the Canadian Ombudsman in the international extractive sector, fair relations with indigenous people as well as migration. Feel free to share this resource widely.
