Ignatius Jesuit Centre is a Jesuit work of land, learning and care for our common home. Located on more than 600 acres of farmland, forests, wetlands, trails and working landscapes in Guelph, Ontario, Ignatius Jesuit Centre (IJC) brings together ecological stewardship, regenerative agriculture, conservation, experiential learning and community engagement.

Rooted in the call of Pope Francis in “Laudato Si’” and the Jesuit commitment to reconciliation with creation, Ignatius Jesuit Centre seeks to respond to the social, ecological and spiritual challenges of our time. Through the Centre for Integral Ecology — an experiential learning initiative that combines spirituality, reflection and hands-on engagement with land, food, biodiversity and community — IJC fosters ecological conversion, greater justice in our relationship with the earth and one another, and a renewed sense of responsibility for creation as gift.

Ignatius Jesuit Centre’s wider work includes organic and regenerative farming, ecological farmer training, food-growing initiatives, volunteer programs, conservation and restoration projects, and partnerships with people of many backgrounds. By bringing people into direct relationship with soil, water, food, biodiversity and community, IJC offers opportunities to reflect, learn and act in response to the urgent need for ecological renewal and a more just and sustainable future.
