Storyteller and author, Dr. Michael Williams, returns to facilitate a spiritual workshop that uncovers the immense influence of storytelling in uniting hearts and broadening our insights into one another.

Designed to foster connection, compassion, and dialogue, this one-day workshop explores the spiritual quality of storytelling and our inner divinity. Our stories have the ability to weave together the threads of our humanity and bridge the divides that separate us. By embracing vulnerability and authenticity in our storytelling, we can foster empathy and mutual understanding. Through mindful listening, we’ll empower each other to learn and grow from our experiences.

Nestled in the tranquil environment of the Ignatius Jesuit Centre in Guelph, Ontario, this workshop offers an opportunity to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with our inner voice. By the end of the day you’ll have a newfound appreciation for the power of your own story and the deep connections that are forged through the sacred practice of storytelling.

No storytelling experience is required as we’re all storytellers by nature.

About the Facilitator – Dr. Michael Williams is a storyteller and award-winning author. His latest book The ABCs of Storytelling: Reflections of a Story Coach (2024), distills his insights, observations, and practices over two decades of sharing stories and helping others tell theirs. Having learned his craft in Scotland, Dr. Williams has worked across the U.K., Europe, the Middle East, and Canada. He is a certified Guided Autobiography Instructor and accredited End-of-life Planning Facilitator & Trainer, as well as a grandfather of six grandchildren. He currently lives in Hamilton, Ontario.
