April 11 @ 9:30 am – 7:30 pm
If you are struggling with grief – whether through the loss of a loved one, a job, a relationship, a family home or any other loss – this day is for you!
Today you are invited to explore the dynamics of your grief journey through the lens of “narrative disruption”, seeing how your life-story has been changed through a loss you did not want.
You will have opportunities for personal reflection, small group discussions, creative opportunities and a ritual to honour your loss(es). A delicious and nutritious lunch and dinner will be provided for you!
You are invited to bring anything that symobolizes your loss as well as a journal to record your thoughts.
Facilitated by Monika Wiesner –
Monika graduated from Women’s College Hospital School of Nursing in Toronto and spent over 30 years in the profession she loved. Her experience in oncology, ICU and obstetrics highlighted her career. In 2004 she was called to ordained ministry in the Lutheran Church (ELCIC) and spent the next many years in congregations in the Waterloo region.
