Journeying with Hildegard of Bingen, Margerite Bourgeoys, and Etty Hillesum

Facilitated by Alana Forrester

In your walk with these three women you will meet a medieval abbess whose connection with the natural world and the Feminine Divine continues to inspire. You will travel with Marguerite Bourgeoys from 17th century France to the New World as she is inspired to live simply with the colonists without religious habit or cloister. And you will be moved by the extraordinary spiritual awakening of the young Jewish Etty Hillesum who died at Auschwitz without abandoning her sense of God and deep compassion.

In this virtual retreat there will be time for sharing in break-out groups after each presentation which will include excerpts from their writings and music reflecting their faith journey.

Space is limited to 20 participants; sign-up early. Registration deadline is September 24.
