“The rose has no ‘why’; it blooms because it blooms.” – Meister Eckhart

When was the last time you spent an entire day caught up in beauty?

With summer flowers in full flush, we’ll devote a Thursday to the contemplation of colour, shape and fragrance of Earth’s first artists.

This retreat will include a tour of May Moon Flowers, the gallery/garden of Tish Oldreive, a professional flower-grower dedicated to local, organic growing. Tish will share her passion and knowledge of the living canvasses she cultivates.

Creative reflection, silence, companionship and time on the inviting Ignatius land will round out the retreat. Each participant will return home with a bouquet of May Moon Flowers.

  • Limited to 15 participants
  • Refreshments provided
  • Indoor & outdoor time
  • Bring your own lunch
  • Includes a bouquet of organic flowers grown at Ignatius

Facilitated by Christa Hesselink of Soulplay, Greg Kennedy of IJC, and Tish Oldreive of May Moon Flowers.

Prices:

  • $75.00 for the day
