This formula offers you the opportunity to take part in a 4-day retreat. It is an experience of silence that will allow you to take time to revitalize and let silence give new life meaning as you progress on your journey.
During a retreat at the Villa Saint-Martin, you can benefit from the following:
- Individual spiritual accompaniment throughout the time of retreat
- Daily Mass
- Access to our grounds, art room and library
- Silence throughout the house and grounds including at meal times
Costs include room and board, meals, access to retreat house and grounds, spiritual accompaniment. We will provide all bedding, linen and towels onsite.
It’s important to remember the retreat house will be in silence.
We would ask that you please respect the need for silence in order to maintain a prayerful experience for all.
A word on food sensitivities:
The ISCM is committed to providing quality meals to deepen your retreat experience. Our meals are served cafeteria-style and not individually. Although we do our best to provide a varied menu which is friendly to most common dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten and lactose-free options), we cannot provide individual menus. We therefore strongly recommend that retreatants with allergies or serious food restrictions bring items to supplement our menu; just in case they do not find anything suitable to both their needs and tastes at a given meal (we have small kitchenettes with fridge and microwave available for this purpose).
What to bring:
Bring the following items to ensure you will be comfortable: shower footwear (as bathrooms/showers may be shared) housecoat/bathrobe reusable water bottle outdoor footwear personal toiletries other personal comfort items (e.g., pillow, slippers, tea bags, etc.).
