The Jesuits of Canada continue our traditional Mother’s Day observance again this year. On Sunday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m., Father Vernon Boyd, SJ, will offer a Mass at Holy Rosary Parish, 175 Emma Street in Guelph, Ontario, for all our mothers. At this Mass, the special women in the lives of our benefactors and friends will be honoured and remembered. Carnations will be placed in the sanctuary to symbolize the love we all share for mothers, grandmothers, and any woman who is special to you and for whom you wish to pray. On Father’s Day, Sunday, June 19 at 11:00 a.m., Father Boyd will remember those important men in our lives at Mass, whether they are fathers, grandfathers, sons, uncles, or special friends. We invite you to share with us the names of those women and men who have made a difference in your life and for whom you wish to give thanks on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Also, we have lovely Mother’s Day cards if you would like to send some to the special women in your life. Please contact us for more information or order cards here. The Jesuits are always grateful for your prayers and support, and please be assured of their prayers for you, and for the special people in your life this Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Sincerely, Barry J Leidl Director of Advancement – Directeur de développement
