Building a Bridge: The Catholic Church and the LGBT Community, with James Martin, SJ [VIDEO]

In this session, Fr James Martin, SJ, explores how the Church can do more to love LGBTQ persons; and how Catholic LGBTQ Catholics can rightfully participate in a church that is already theirs. He explains how the virtues of “respect, compassion and sensitivity,” taught by the Church, can be used to build a bridge between these two groups.

Fr James Martin, SJ, is the author of the best-selling book Building a Bridge (2017). Fr Martin is also a Jesuit priest, and editor at large of America Magazine.
