WOMEN IGNATIAN –  This Ignatian retreat on resilience invites participants to receive resilience not first as a personal achievement, but as a grace given by God and nurtured through relationship with God.   Through prayer and reflection, retreatants are helped to notice how resilience grows as they learn to remain faithful in moments of struggle, discouragement, and uncertainty, rather than fleeing from them. Scripture offers rich models of resilience—figures such as Hannah, David, Job, and Jesus himself—who trust God amid trial and allow suffering to deepen, rather than diminish, their freedom. In the Ignatian tradition, resilience is strengthened by honest self-awareness, discernment, and attentiveness to God’s presence in both consolation and desolation.    Ultimately, the retreat reveals resilience as essential to growing trust and hope, enabling us to persevere with confidence that God is at work even when outcomes are unclear.
