As we begin the month of October, we join Pope Francis and people around the world in praying for the Synod, asking the Holy Spirit to guide the Church toward a path of listening and dialogue. This journey invites us to reach out to those at the margins, bring healing, compassion, and justice where it is most needed.
In anticipation of November, the Jesuits of Canada have launched our Holy Souls campaign. During this sacred time, the Church calls us to pray for loved ones who have passed. We invite you to honour them with a donation in their memory. Their names will be placed at the altar in the René Goupil Chapel, where the Jesuits will remember them in daily prayers throughout the month. As we pray for your loved ones, we invite you to reflect on how your gifts honour their memory and brings hope to those who we love. As we approach November, we look forward to gathering in fellowship at the 10th Annual Scotch Nosing event on November 6, 2024, at The Albany Club in Toronto.
