Pope Francis Celebrates World Communications Day

Under the theme “We are members one of another (Eph 4,25). From network community to human communities,” the Pope celebrated World Communications Day. Among other ideas, he made a call to reflect more upon the personal and communal dimensions of communication:

From an anthropological standpoint, the metaphor of the network also recalls another significant figure: that of community. A community is made stronger if it is cohesive and united, inspired by feelings of trust and the pursuit of shared goals. The community as a support network requires mutual listening and dialogue, based upon the responsible use of language. For more, click here.
