What Does Lent Mean to Me?

March 8, 2017 — For Father Erik Oland, SJ, the new provincial of the French Canada Province of the Society of Jesus, Lent is a time to be more intentional.

“It’s a penitential season, but penitential for what? To prepare yourself to journey with Jesus in Holy Week and to experience the resurrection with him.

“It’s penitential, but it’s a time of preparation too.”
