October 26, 2015 — In the 16th century, St. Ignatius Loyola founded one of the world’s first multinational organizations, the Society of Jesus. In October of 2016, the Jesuits will choose Ignatius’ successor in Rome at General Congregation 36, or GC 36 for short.

In Memoriam
Father John O’Brien, (Jack), died on November 7, 2015 at Rene Goupil House in Pickering, ON in the 92nd year of his life and 71st year of religious life. Fr. "Jack" is remembered for his extensive work and recognition in communications and education.

Brother Leo Brady died on November 6, 2015 at Ajax-Pickering Hospital in his 97th year of life and 68th year of religious life. Br. Leo spent many years in Guelph, notably as director of the Ignatius farm.

Father Paul Granville died on August 1, 2015 at the Ajax-Pickering Hospital in Pickering, Ontario. He was in his 88th year and in religious life for 70 years.
